We welcome people of all ethnicities, religions, genders, sexual orientations, abilities and backgrounds.
I have worked in mental health for more than 11 years; 7.5 of which have been in NHS Primary Care Talking Therapies. I support people through a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. At the heart of my work is a genuine care for people and a strong belief in the importance of helping others live more fulfilling, meaningful lives. This starts with mental health. I approach therapy with warmth, respect, and a deep commitment to creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and accepted.
I understand that seeking therapy can feel daunting, and I work at your pace, ensuring that you feel supported rather than pressured. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT).
I work with a range of difficulties, including obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), health anxiety, panic, generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and low self-esteem. I also support people who want to improve their relationships, and feel more secure in themselves. As an accredited therapist, I regularly attend supervision and training to make sure my skills stay up to date and my practise is guided by the latest research and evidence-based approaches.
Therapy is not just about reducing symptoms; it is also about helping you move towards your goals and values. I will support you to connect with what matters most to you and together we will understand how you can thrive, not just cope. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping you create lasting, positive change in your life.
